I don't consider Playboy to be porn, just an FYI.
Okay, so recently some friends and I have had some interesting discussions about a lot of different things and these are the most interesting. Of course they are, they have to do with sex. Duh. Anyway, I was just thinking about their opinions and my opinions and this is kind of how I feel about each subject; they're not really all connected, kinda, but whatever.
1. Plastic Surgery
Some of you know that someday, I would like to have surgery done. I feel like my body isn't exactly proportionate. I have a smaller chest and a ginormous ass. I feel lopsided. Not like I'm going to fall over backwards because my ass is THAT huge, but I just don't feel quite right. One of my guy friends said I shouldn't because they wouldn't feel real. What the fuck do I care if they don't feel real? I'm not doing this for anyone else, I want to do it for me, so do you honestly think I care if they don't feel real to some guy I probably don't care very much about? On second thought, if he's touching the girls I probably do care about him at least a little. Whatever, that's a whole other story. But then Tobes did this awesome post about what makes someone a feminist and it was amazing as usual. She pointed out that while she didn't think plastic surgery is really a good thing, it doesn't make anyone any less of a feminist for doing so. I agree, I am still a feminist and the reasons I want to do this someday are for me only, so who can say I'm any less of one than anyone who does not have plastic surgery?
2. Playboy
A lot of people, women especially, think that Playboy is degrading to women. I wonder how, exactly? I have always been of the mindset that if you got, flaunt it. If I looked like Kim Kardashian, I'd be naked in a heartbeat posing for the magazine. It's not as though women are duped into posing, they know exactly what will be expected, it's Playboy for cryin' out loud. You really think any women go to the photo shoot expecting to keep their clothes on? Like I said, if you got it, you might as well show it off.
3. Porn
Big effing deal. As long as it's between two (or more, depending on your fetish I guess) consenting adults, what is the big deal? Obviously pornography that involves minors or violence against either men or women is disgusting and that's not even what I'm talking about. Instead, just the regular old run of the mill porn. Is it degrading to women? Maybe, but if so, how, exactly? Maybe most peoples' sex lives are not as interesting of some pornos I'm guessing, but don't you think that more than a few people have tried what they've seen on video behind closed doors? Probably so. It's just sex, and I think people need to relax a little bit. And kind of like with the Playboy thing, if you like to bang and you're comfortable enough with your body to be naked on screen for thousands of horny teenage boys to secretly download, then go for it. Personally, I'd just stick to Playboy, thanks, but hey, that's just me.
Anyway, that's all, don't know why I felt the need to write two posts so close together so suddenly, but I did, so whatever. Maybe I'm making up for my lack of posting recently.

I just get so sad when you look at the industry that's selling women new boobs and vaginas and trying to market it like "empowerment."
Real empowerment would just say every body type is beautiful.... but that's my fantasy land.

I agree. And I would never get a boob job just because my boyfriend/husband wanted me to (cough*Heidi Montag*cough), I'd want to do it for me because I'm the one who it's going to really effect.
As for new vaginas....I don't even want to know how that is possible. I mean, I know, but...ew.
